Spiritual Growth

Are you a Christian, but finding that you have more questions than answers? Do you easily get confused when you don’t have the answers, and then immediately feel guilty because of your ‘lack of faith’? Do you answer “NO” to any (or all) of these questions?

  • Do you truly believe that God loves you unconditionally? (John 3:16)
  • Do you truly believe that He has a plan and purpose for your life? (Jer 29:11)
  • Do you truly believe that you can have a life of abundance (John 10:10b), despite your circumstances?
  • Do you truly believe that you are saved by grace alone, not having to do anything to deserve your salvation? (Eph 2:8-9)
  • Do you often seek God’s face (for who He is), and not only His Hand (for what He needs to give you)? (Ps 27:8)
  • Do you often and easily cast your cares on Him, trusting Him to care for you? (1 Pet 5:7)
  • Do you truly believe that God is a God of relationships, and that He wants you to turn to Him with anything concerning your life, no matter how big or small? (Lev 26:12, 1 John 4:19)
  • Do you truly believe that He is closer to you than your next breath? (Acts 17:27-28a)
  • Do you truly believe that unlimited Godly wisdom and peace is available to you, all you need to do is ask? (James 1:5)
  • Do you truly believe that you are righteous in God’s eyes, because of Jesus, no matter what you did before knowing Him? (Col 1:21-22)
  • Do you truly believe that if God could part the sea for His people years ago, He can still do anything that’s in His will and plan for you, today? (Isa 51:10-11, Heb 11:29)

spiritual growthWhat I’m trying to say is, sometimes these truths are in our head, but not yet steadfastly rooted in our hearts. We unknowingly believe ideas that we must do good works, or live holy, to deserve God’s love for us and His blessings in our lives.

Let’s call these ideas: Lies.

These lies have been subtly and strategically planted in our hearts through years and years’ of experiences, words that were spoken to us in anger, or thoughts that came out of nowhere into our minds.

This is the work of the father of the lies, an enemy who only kills and destroys (John 10:10a).

Challenging the Lies

With one of the techniques in the 20-hour online Transformation Coaching System™ that I use, called Negative Belief Therapy, I can help you to replace these deeply rooted lies with the truths found in God’s Word.

While we believe these cunning and convincing lies, it’s very hard to grow spiritually and embrace the power of faith. For many years after I gave my life to Jesus as a teenager, I found myself staying a spiritual baby (Heb 5:11-14). It’s only by the grace of God that I met friends who showed me how this hindered my faith and influenced my relationship with a Good Father.

Please, don’t stay in that place of immaturity, but be aware that spiritual growth is not out of your reach.

And be not conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Rom 12:2

It is possible for you to have a personal relationship with the Creator of the universe.

He is waiting, no, longing, for you to reach out to Him and surrender your mind and emotions to Him.

growing spirituallyWhat is Spiritual Growth

Spiritual growth is not a destination that you need to reach on your own, with your own strength. It’s a life-long process, starting from the moment you repent, confess Jesus as your Saviour and receive the Holy Spirit, until the day you take your last breath. It’s an exciting journey where you can trust that the One who started the good work in you, will carry it on to completion (Phil 1:6).

How can I create growth in your spiritual life? Well, the truth is, I can’t. Spiritual growth is a personal interaction between your spirit, and God’s.

However, I can guide you into the right direction with the help of the Holy Spirit and the techniques that I have learned which I also apply in my own life.

Our sinful nature, or the soul, consists out of the mind and emotions. This soul runs parallel with our spirit (Gal 5:7), and prevents us from participating in the relationship God craves to have with us.

Ask yourself this: Are you ruled by your spirit, or by your mind and emotions?

Unfortunately, by default, and by experiences in the past, most of us are ruled by our soul, even though we might be Christians for many years.

Transformation Coaching and Spiritual Growth

Added benefits of completing this revolutionary system include quieting your mind by getting rid of inner conflict, increasing your daily energy levels and your creativity, boosting your confidence and self-esteem, changing your current self-love to unconditional love for self, and increasing your mindfulness, which allows you to be more present in the moment.
